A new dev came in with a new build-a-waifu. What you get? HoneyCome.

    A developer of R18 a new made a debut late last year. Came in the heat of time, ILLGAMES was formed. These games came in with a new title that would fill the void left by a well known developer who is no longer here anymore. Here is the history.

THE ILLUSION IS NO MORE...

    Illusion, a well known erotic game developer that has been around for the ages of the adult game space has been known for Honey Select, AI Shoujo, and Koikatsu. The developer has been known for more titles than the two. Their latest game was Room Girl. Announced on July 2023, they were shutting down and will be no more after the 18th of august. The only ways of ensuring re-downloading leading to complications would not be a thing, it was either preserve the special patches or mod the games. They later confirmed on their last day that would have no successor company. It was it for Illusion.

Then came ILLGAMES with a new title, HoneyCome!

    ILLGAMES was suddenly formed and came out of the blue with a debut title. A Build-a-Waifu game titled HoneyCome. The game sells on Steam and DLSite. The gameplay structure would be similar to HoneySelect but one of the big things noted would be the free roaming of the building. The art style would bear the similarities to Koikatsu. There would be free updates (even updates that would come with free additional stuff). The official JP domain website for ILLGAMES will give you information as well as updates to the game and the expansion. In December, there would an expansion set called HoneyCome Dolce.  This expansion would add two personalities, offered more H-scene positions, and introduced the DigitalCraft, the game's own studio mode. The game alongside it's expansion was released simultaneously in Japanese and English.

A sad store that also saw the beginning of a new tale.

    We were in dire need of a new build-a-waifu simulator game and it really showed when it came to July 2023. The good news is that this game has been getting updates from the left and right. As a matter of fact, you will be happy to know that HoneyCome is surprisingly optimized well for a Unity engine game. The experience so far was rather more than impressive.
